animal

There is this sick retarded bastard in my hostel who doesnt flush the toilet after he pees. sometimes when i open the door of a cubicle, i see the toilet bowl full with yellow liquid that stinks, i thought, perhaps once in a while, someone just forgot to flush after he uses the toilet. i was totally wrong. it was perhaps in this bastard's genes, cultural, family or educational background that it has became a habit for him to NEVER flush the toilet. the bad thing is we dont know who this joker is, cause if i do, i'll make sure the whole hostel knows. but besides that, the point is that now every single time i open a door of a toilet cubicle, i face a high probability of meeting a yellow toilet bowl. i would just help that animal flush, walk away and use another cubicle.

What i really couldnt understand is that how difficult is it to flush the toilet after u take a piss? if a girl has to sit on a toilet bowl to pee, she even had to turn back to flush. it is a HE!! he's just standing there, facing that damn button, within the reach of his finger. can it get anymore convenient? u need a sensor do u, dont u have any fingers? its not as if we have to go get water from a well in order to flush the toilet. no, lets not flush the toilet. lets be environmental friendly and save water. my ass!! doesnt he know that urine stinks, and if he doesnt flush the toilet it stinks worst than crap?!

well perhaps not everyone has such good patience like mine... Joking... apparently this bastard pissed off someone else in my cluster as well so this brave soul decided to write a note with MARKER PEN on the walls of the cubicle in the toilet. it goes 'flush the goddamn toilet u fucking animal'. he cant be more polite. i can feel his anger and frustration, in facing such an university undergraduate with the IQ and EQ level of some prehistoric barbarians. what did he learn from his 10+ years of education anyway? but i really must thank this brave soul for stepping up and do something. hopefully that idiot could get the message.

if this goes on, i would just be wondering. is he just plain retarded? being inconsiderate? or just dont see the need of flushing? or perhaps he's so just uncivilized he never know how to flush a toilet...

first post

It’s been a while since I wanted to start an English blog, but was still yet to find a topic to start my posts. Well I finally had an inspiration of what to write after coming back to Ipoh during this mid-term break. On Monday, wei li, yee yee and I went to bowl in Ipoh parade. It was still rather early then, around 11+. In the bowling alley we saw this amazing incident that struck me and got me into thinking.

The manager or so of the bowling alley had a
small area in front of the counter and the other entrance chained up to block others from walking by in order to do some cleaning. What was really incredible is that they took 4 people to mop the small area, not counting the two ‘supervisors’. We played 3 games each, took more than an hour, and they were not done cleaning that small area when we were leaving. It was truly unbelievable. They had one man using the machine mop, two women mopping manually, and the fourth putting some soap powder and clean the side of the walls where perhaps the angle of the mop could not reach.

Well perhaps that’s how we have low unemployment rates. If they can take 4 people to clean that small area in an hour, I can’t possibly imagine what it would be like if one is to clean it on its own. Takes 4 hours maybe? I will just die of boredom if I clean that same area for 4 hours.

It reminds me of an old theory of John Maynard Keynes, where he once said that in order to increase the GDP, the government needs to increase spending and inject money into the economy. According to him, it doesn’t matter how the government spend the money. It could be employing people to dig hole, fill them up, re-dig, re-fill, re-re-dig, re-re-fill…… So perhaps some people do believe in such ideas may still work today. But does it? I don’t know, but let’s hope it does, for now we have four more people employed and we have a clean bowling alley.
